Official Handbook
1.0 Personnel Structure
Owner
The Owner of the company is there to oversee all staff positions and to make large scale changes to the functionality of the company. They are the main person in charge and is therefore not expected to handle every situation.
Co-Owner
The Co-Owner is to serve as the right-hand-man to the President. He is responsible for the majority of the company's financial standing in conjunction with the Financial Office division as well as overseeing general operations with the General Manager. As with the President, the Vice President is not there to oversee small problems, but instead deal with issues relating to the "big picture" of the company. The Vice President reports directly to the President.
General Manager[Don't Know Yet]
The State Supervisor oversees the operational capacity of all divisions, unless a specific division's policy states otherwise. They are the highest ranking “foot soldier” if you will. General Managers are there to aid in the general functionality of the company and are not there to make huge changes as to how it works. The General Manager reports directly to the Co-Owner and Owner. The General Manager has authority over all ranks below and may issue official reprimands, including but not limited to suspension.
Manager[Don't Know Yet]
The Managers are in charge of the maintenance and operation of their respective division in the company. They will make sure everyone in their respective division can handle the responsibilities given to them. The Divisional Directors will report directly to the General Manager. Managers have authority over all ranks below and may issue official reprimands, including but not limited to suspension.
Assistant Manager[Don't Know Yet]
The Assistant Managers are, after the Managers, in command when it comes to minor decisions on their respective division. They answer directly to their respective divisional Manager.
Dispatcher[Don't Know Yet]
The Dispatchers are in command when it comes to minor decisions on their respective shift, with the exception of higher ranks. These people are expected to dispatch taxis between themselves as to not overwhelm one area and to ensure every call is answered. Dispatchers have authority over lower ranks and should make sure all members are on duty and following company policy. Dispatchers report directly to the Managers/Assistant Managers.
Operator[Don't Know Yet]
After being a Rookie Operator for a minimum of one week, they are eligible for promotion to full Operator. Operators are expected to know what they are supposed to be doing and help newer people become accustomed to their role. Although this is a senior position and should help lead the lower ranks, they still report to the on duty Dispatcher and have no true authority over the lower ranks unless divisional policy states otherwise.
Rookie Operator[Don't Know Yet]
Upon successful completion of their training process, Trainees are then promoted to Rookie Operator. This is also the first rank that allows its members to transfer to another division. Rookie Operators do not posses any supervisory role. Rookie Operators report to the on duty Dispatcher.
Trainee[Don't Know Yet]
After an applicant has completed their recruitment phases, they will be employed as a Trainee. Trainees are required to complete their training process within a week of employment. Trainees may conduct their duties without presence of a supervisor, however must be in coordination with department policy.
